The Founder and leader of Christ Jesus of Nazareth for All Freedom Fighters Fellowship, Prophet Emmanuel Kankam Kwaku Attah Kakrah has heavily descended on the General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah for saying that “President Nana Addo Dankwa will be in trouble if he did not build a National Cathedral”.

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Attah who said the National Cathedral is the future and saviour of Ghana and for that matter, called on Israel for it’s financial assistance in the government quest to build the national monument also had his share of the man of God wrath.

The Prophet descended on this two during his encounter with the Press in Accra today, 27th June, 2019.

To him, religiously, the statements made by Prophet Owusu Bempah that “in the name of Almighty God, no National Cathedral, no President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo” is a “dangerous decision”.

Adding that, government’s involvement in the building of national Cathedral for Christ body is a complete discrimination in the Christianity religious.

“The Almighty God justice had ordered us to respond to Mr Ofori-Atta and his dangerous religious partners for the people of Ghana to know and understand that the New Patriotic Party’s led National Cathedral is indeed, the secret No.1 enemy of God and country”

Stressing that, the santanic wicked National Cathedral shall not stand today and tomorrow.

According to him, the unfolding mystery is that the NPP led incoming National Cathedral monument and the infamous Ghana American Military deal has rather provoked the God of  Abraham that, God is furious and his wrath is not far from reaching Ghanaians at all.

“As concerned citizens of democratic Ghana,we have already sent letters and CDs to Prophet Dr.Owusu Bempah, the 13 member National Cathedral Trustees Board”, he acknowledged.

As well as have sent copies to the Hon Speaker of Paraliment, the Majority leaders of Paraliment for the needed actions, he disclosed.

Expressing his sentiments atcthe press briefing, Prophet Kakrah called on Ghanaians to wake up from their slumber to join sections of the public to oppose government’s involvement in the construction of a National Cathedral.

The use of government resources for this project, the man of God says is “unjustified and dangerous”.

The act of President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to build a National Cathedral has been hailed by some religious groups and a section of the public, however, it seems to have ruffled the feathers of a few other interest groups which Christ Jesus of Nazareth for All Freedom Fighters Fellowship is one.

And these few are currently the major opposition to the construction of the landmark that was designed by the Ghanaian architect David Adjaye.

The proposed 14 acres for the construction of this magnificent building is partly the location of the residence of some Appeal Court Judges and other important state institutions.

According to the President, the cathedral will be an interdenominational Christian cathedral and will a thanksgiving edifice to God as part of Ghana’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.

Meanwhile, a private citizen, James Bomfeh, is also in court to challenge the constitutionality of state involvement in the erection of the National Cathedral and other religious activities like the organisation of the Hajj for Ghanaian Muslims.

According to Mr Bomfeh, a member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), the framers of the Constitution strived at fairness for every individual’s religious belief when they stated that the state must leave religious matters to the individual.

The Supreme Court is yet to pronounce judgement on the matter, but the government has already sent quit orders to residents whose homes and properties are situated on the stretch of prime land to be used for the cathedral.
