Emmanuel Allotey urges electorate to take precautionary measures against COVID-19 as he embarks on ‘Street-Walk’ Campaign

Mr Emmanuel Adotey Allotey, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Anyaa Sowutuom, has embarked on a street-walk campaign to win the mandate of the people.

The exercise also aimed to educate the electorates about the corona- virus pandemic that has brought economic activities across the globe to a standstill.

The exercise which has already been replicated in Lomnav Electoral Area, Agape Pentecost Electoral Area as well as Okaiman-Eaat Electoral Area was centred on Olebu electoral area.

The strategy was jointly mapped out by the constituency executive committee to present Mr Allotey to the people and also to help educate the electorates on the corona- virus pandemic.

Speaking to the electorates, Mr. Allotey who is a renowned banker and economist explained that, the outreach exercise is to share the policies as well the vision of the incoming President, His Excellent y John Dramani Mahama such as the creation of more jobs, improvement of social amenities, healthcare for the people.

The exercise he acknowledged has been very impactful looking at the enthusiastic welcome demonstrated by the electorate, saying he stands tall with his pedigree among other contestants that, he urged the electorates to vote massively for him and the party.

He also the walk to propagate his vision whilst urged the electorates to take precautionary measures in the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bringing the campaign to the doorsteps of the people and making it more visible,Mr Adotey Allotey indicated that, the strategy has afforded him the opportunity to drive home his message.
