Hearts of Oak will look for a win in their last first round game of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season despite having a game outstanding.
The Phobians are guests of premier league returnees, Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Sunday, February 13.
A win will be huge feather in the millennium champions’ tea cup having been beaten 1-0 in week 16 by city rivals, Great Olympics in the Accra derby last weekend.
Deputy captain, Mohammed Alhassan has been pivotal for the Phobians this term and he is eying all three points against RTU.
“Going into the RTU game, we are going in for the three points. “We are not just going there to play and get anything and come back.
“We are going in for the points because if someone can come to our home and take the points, why can’t we go there and take the points.
“We are going in for the points, it’s the three points we are going in for,” Mohammed Alhassan said. “Our problem is to correct our mistakes in our previous game then we go into that match with a focused mind and go in for the three points.” Mohammed Alhassan added.
Hearts of Oak have had mixed results this season after their triumphant treble last season.
They have won six matches, drawing five times and losing four games enroute to claiming 23 points in 7th from 15 matches.
They have a week seven outstanding clash against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko on February 20.
