The works of Mr. Edmond Otu Yeboah, an astute photo journalist has earned him recognition at the just ended Ghana Environmental and Sanitation Awards (GESA) held in Accra.

At the Ghana Environmental and Sanitation Awards (GESA), he won the Environment and Sanitation Blogger & Blogger of the Year award.

The astute photo journalist who is also a Communications Officer at Zoomlion Ghana Limited, a waste management company in Ghana and Africa as a whole has distinguished himself in his field of work.

In an interview, he attributed his success to hard work, consistency and teamwork adding, that in everything he seeks the face of God.

He further explained that, his goal is to excel in his field of work and as well make an impact in the lives of people he come across in his day to day discharge of his duties.

Mr. Edmond Otu Yeboah urged the youth to be diligent, hardworking, consistent adding that, they should not give up on their goals, hence strive to achieve and above all, make an impact in the society they find themselves in.

He has been an award recipient of Social Media Top Influencer of the Jospong Group of Companies for two consecutive times 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Background:
Working with the waste management giant, he served in the Communications and Corporate Affairs Directorate as an Officer in Charge of Audiovisuals.

He is also a Sanitation advocate, a Social Media Influencer, a Columnist as well as great photographer.

Mr. Edmond Otu Yeboah who is communicative, assertive, friendly and outgoing hails from Akuapem Akropong in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

He is a young gentleman with respectable education background including, a Certificate in Communications Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, a certificate in both Media and Good Governance from Knutsford University College, Ghana, as well as secondary education at Adonten Senior High School, all in Ghana.

Through his works, he has had the opportunity to travel across the country on several occasions for official assignments which has enable him to understand the traditions and cultures of people from all tribes across Ghana.

His wonderful pictures as a photo journalist on all company trips has featured in most of his company publications in the dailies and online portals.

Mr. Yeboah is a staunch Christian who fellowships with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

As a staunch Christian, he always prays that, our Creator, God grants him serenity to accept the things he can’t change as well as the courage to change the things he can, hence the wisdom to know the difference between the two.

As an astute photojournalist, it is his desire to become a sought after Environmental Advocate and an experienced Photo Journalist.
