The Nigeria Police Force intercepted and arrested an unnamed man found carrying tons of banned drugs.

The man, (name withheld) was paraded at a Police custody in Delta State, Nigeria, after he was arrested with the illicit substances.

The revelation was made by SP. Bright Edafe, PPRO, Delta State, where he gave an account of the intercepted drugs.

“Three hundred and seventy-five bottles of CSP codeine, forty-four bottles of CSC codeine, one hundred and twenty sachets of tramadol 200mg, and thirty-three sachets of swinol capsules all recovered from one person.”

The officer berated the suspected criminal act and promised that the Police would not relent in their quest to curb drug abuse and criminology in the state and country at large.

“Why do people out of greed form a habit of dealing in all these banned and controlled drugs? It’s killing our youths, and we will continue to go after them.” He concluded.
