The Independent Candidate Kwabena Aduomi in the ongoing Ejisu by-elections has accused the ruling party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of vote buying at the various polling stations.

According to him, his visit to most of the polling stations shows crystal clear of electorates being given money to cast their vote for the party Parliamentary Candidate Lawyer Kwabena Boateng.

“I am even ashamed that, a party in government has to engage in vote buying to win a by-election against an independent candidate ” he bemoaned.

adding, “I was expecting them to campaign on the good works and achievements of the party in government and the late Member of Parliament (MP) Lawyer John Kumah in the Constituency”.

Kwabena Aduomi made this allegation when he visited the Ejisu RC JHS polling station in the late hours of 4:15 pm.

as of the time of filing this report, two hundred and forty-three (243) out of four hundred and eighty-seven (487) have cast their votes.

the Independent Candidate Kwabena Aduomi was of the view that the vote-buying attitude exhibited by the ruling party the New Patriotic Party (NPP) shows how abysmal the party has performed in the Constituency and Ghana as a whole.
