President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Hon. Adam Mutawakilu as the Acting Managing Director of Ghana Water Limited (GWL).
Hon. Mutawakilu, a seasoned politician and administrator, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has served as a Member of Parliament, Ranking Member of the Mines and Energy Committee, and District Chief Executive for West Gonja District.
In his first address to the staff of GWL, Hon. Mutawakilu expressed his gratitude to President Mahama for the appointment and pledged to work tirelessly to ensure that GWL achieves its strategic objectives.
Hon. Mutawakilu holds a Master’s degree in Development Finance from the University of Ghana, a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a Master’s degree in Petroleum and Oil Studies from the University of Cape Coast.
GWL expects Hon. Mutawakilu to bring his wealth of experience and expertise to bear on the company’s operations.
The company is confident that under his leadership, GWL will continue to provide sustainable and reliable water supply to all communities across the country.
