Mfantispim School, one of Ghana’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, is gearing up to celebrate its 150th anniversary with a call to action: collaboration to improve the country’s education sector.
Reverend Ebenezer Kobina Aidoo, the school’s headmaster, emphasized the importance of working together to address the challenges facing Ghana’s education sector.
To achieve this, Reverend Aidoo identified key areas for improvement, including a more effective school selection system that would ensure students are placed in schools that meet their needs.
In addition, improved management would enhance the overall quality of education.
And enhanced stakeholder engagement to foster a sense of community and shared responsibility.
The Mfantispim headmaster urged the government, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to work together to address these challenges and provide students with the best possible education.
This call to action is particularly significant as Mfantispim School prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, a milestone in Ghana’s education history.
