The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), in collaboration with the National School of Government (NSG) of South Africa and the Kenya School of Government (KSG), will host the June 2025 Economic Governance School from 16th to 19th June 2025 at GIMPA’s Greenhill Campus in Accra.

The Economic Governance School under the  Theme: “Policy, Practice and Integration for Inclusive Growth in Africa,” is designed to explore and co-develop strategic approaches to enhancing economic governance across Africa, with particular attention to policy formulation, regional integration, and inclusive growth.

The four-day programme will bring together senior government officials, policymakers, academics, civil society leaders, and development practitioners to examine six critical thematic areas.

These critical areas include Sustainability and Just Transitions, African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Anti-Corruption Strategies, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Governance, Food Security and Gender Equity and Youth Employment (Youth Dividend in Africa).

Participants will engage in lectures, case discussions, interactive sessions, and collaborative group work aimed at refining strategic thinking and deepening understanding of governance challenges and opportunities within the African context.

The programme concludes with a socio-cultural immersion to offer participants a unique Ghanaian experience.

This initiative reflects a strategic partnership among GIMPA, NSG, and the Kenya School of Government institutions united in their commitment to advancing effective economic governance and regional integration across Africa.
