The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has welcomed 1,857 new students into its academic community for the September 2025 intake.
The matriculation ceremony, which took place at the Greenhill campus, marked a significant milestone for the new students as they begin their academic journey at GIMPA’s four schools and satellite campuses across the country.
The new students have been distributed across GIMPA’s four schools as follows: GIMPA Business School: 519 students,Faculty of Law: 321 students, School of Public Service and Governance: 471 students as well as School of Technology and Social Sciences: 293 students.
Additionally, 58 students have been admitted to the Tema Campus, 117 to the Takoradi Campus, and 78 to the Kumasi Campus.
In his address to the new students, Professor Samuel K. Bonsu, Rector of GIMPA, urged them to embrace curiosity, creativity, and courage as they embark on their academic journey. He emphasized that their time at GIMPA would be a transformative period that would challenge their perspectives, values, and sense of purpose.
In his remarks, the deputy Rector Professor Ebenezer Adaku, Deputy Rector, also addressed the students, urging them to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and service that GIMPA represents.
He encouraged them to take advantage of the mentorship and support systems available and to approach their studies with discipline and determination.
