News Desk Report

A passionate plea for justice and accountability has been issued by Henry Mbilla, a concerned citizen and member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), over the recent Basyonde and Garu Tempane incident.

In an open letter addressed to the Government of Ghana and the Ghana Armed Forces, Mbilla expressed outrage and deep disappointment at the handling of the situation, where an Immigration officer was shot and killed.

The incident in question occurred when the Immigration officer was brutally shot and killed in Basyonde and Garu Tempane. Instead of taking concrete steps to arrest the perpetrators, the Ghana Armed Forces allegedly launched a brutal attack on innocent civilians, including women, men, and children.

Mbilla’s letter highlights the need for an immediate investigation into the incident and for those responsible to be held accountable.

In his letter, Mbilla demands that the government and the Ghana Armed Forces take immediate action to:

– Identify and arrest the perpetrators responsible for the killing of the Immigration officer

– Cease all brutal attacks on innocent civilians

– Conduct an independent investigation into the incident and hold those responsible accountable

While Mbilla’s letter is a call to action, it also emphasizes the need for calm and restraint in the face of adversity. The people of Basyonde and Garu Tempane deserve justice, protection, and respect, and it is the responsibility of the government and security agencies to ensure that their rights are protected.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and concern, with many calling for accountability and justice. The Ghana Armed Forces and the government have yet to respond to Mbilla’s demands.
