Young people have been urged to leverage their God-given talents to create opportunities for development and growth.
According to Nana Serwaah Bossman, Head of Youth Banking at Stanbic Height, jobs are becoming increasingly difficult to find each day, making it essential for young people to be creative and innovative to fit into the workforce.
“Jobs are not easy to find these days, and yet every person has a talent. Find that gift that comes naturally to you and leverage it. Be creative—any small idea you have, like a seedling, can grow into something big with faith,” she reiterated.

Speaking at the Voice of Tomorrow Corporate Forum held at Stanbic Incubator Clinic in Accra, she encouraged them, saying, “let’s focus on the little things around us, the problems we can solve, and then start taking steps to ideate and develop structures for them. They’ll become great businesses with God’s blessings.”
The Voice of Tomorrow Corporate Forum, organized by Learning Tree Foundation, aims to empower youth through public speaking.
To achieve this, Mrs. Bossman noted that it is important for young people to develop a habit of saving, to have sufficient funds to implement their ideas and businesses with ease.
Regarding support systems for young people, she acknowledged various government programs but emphasized that “we believe these young people must have their own jobs, side hustles, even if they pursue careers and corporate lifestyles.”
For this purpose, Stanbic Youth Banking is ready to assist them in building sustainable, profitable, and viable businesses.

“Starting from the ideation phase, then moving to pitching where you bring in sponsors with your own money, and finally building a strong business that can eventually bring you back to the bank to save or open an account.”
On her part, Mrs. Rosemary Osei Kuffour, founder and CEO of Learning Tree Foundation—the organizers of the Voice of Tomorrow Corporate Forum—stated that the initiative is a platform designed to unlock the creative and entrepreneurial potential of Ghana’s youth.
The forum also aims to motivate young people with innovative ideas to step forward instead of letting their visions stagnate.
Partnering with Stanbic Bank, she said, the program will offer training, mentorship, and a stage for participants to showcase their talents and refine their entrepreneurial skills.
“We are just trying to help them leverage whatever they have, like social media and other resources, to highlight their talents and creative projects, and to develop their entrepreneurial skills so they can take on the future,” she explained.

The inaugural edition features 10 selected students from various institutions, including UPSA and GIMPA, and is open to all disciplines.
“We don’t restrict it to one particular course; regardless of whether it’s social science, law, or any other field, all we require is an interest in public speaking and a desire to learn.”
The Voice of Tomorrow Corporate Forum hopes to develop a pipeline of confident, innovation-driven youth prepared to lead Ghana into the fufuture.
