A former Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District has been pronounced dead.
This is according to the Kwara State Governor who confirmed the news of the death on Wednesday through the Chief Press Secretary of the state Rafiu Ajakaye.
“This shocking development again reminds everyone of the inevitability of death for all human beings and the fact that it could come unannounced for anyone”. The Governor, Abdul Rahman Abdul Razak said.
The former senator was in office from 2015 until 2019 having served as a member of the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015.
He’ll be buried on the same day at the Muslim Cemetery in Ilorin. He was said to have died after a brief illness.
