The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of “Obaasima Summit, Ama Pratt will be hosting the maiden edition of the Summit on May 31, 2019 at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra.
The summit dubbed under the theme “empowered for continuity” aims to give some powerful Ghanaian women from different sectors to share their successes and failures with youthful ladies on
The “OBAASIMA SUMMIT”, an all women project by Ama Pratt is designed solely to empower, equip and promote women to live up to standard and pursue their dreams in life.
Some of the guest speakers billed for the occasion includes the Gender Minister, Cynthia Morrison, former Minister of Education, Proffessor Jane Opoku Agymang, Reverend Minister and Business personality, Rev.Joyce Aryee.
Others include the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensah, Politician and lawyer,Joyce Bawah Motgari, Special Aide to former President John Mahama, Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the United Bank of Africa (UBA), Abiola Bawuah as we as the founder of Stratcom Africa, Esther Cobbah.
The much-awaited Summit which will start exactly 5pm on the day will be in three (3) folds; namely the Social Conversation Session, the Mentorship Dialogue and the Speakers’ Engagement session.
Meanwhile, speaking to the thenewinpendentonline.com exclusively in an interview, the host Ama Pratt indicated that, the program is to celebrate the femininity for their successes they have achieved collectively and individually in their respect field of interest.
Adding that, it is intended to serve as a point of call to action for women to have a platform to interact as well serves as a wakeup call for women to believe and do more for themselves and the generation to come.
To ensure massive turnout, organisers has embarked vigorous public awareness creation on some radio and television stations like Neat fm,Live fm,starr fm, Rainbow radio and Atinka Television.
To spice up the program, there will be live band performances to thrill audience on the 31st May, 2019 and registration is free for all participants including women exhibitors.
