Asuogyaman DCE gives to Muslims.

The District Chief Executive, DCE for Asuogyaman Hon. Samuel Kwame Agyekum has presented a quantity of foodstuffs to the Muslims communities in the District.

The item consists of quantities of assorted  Bags of rice and fifty cartons of frytol Oil for the Celebration of Eid Mubarak marking the period of thirtieth Islamic calendar of fasting.

Delivering the item, the DCE Agyekum lauded the Muslim leadership in the District for their peaceful coexistence with their Christian brothers and sisters and urged them to pray for the God’s guidance and success of  President Nana  Akufo Addo in the quest to deliver on his mandate for the benefit of all and sundry.

The DCE also appealed for their prayers to enable him discharge his duties without hitches as District Chief Executive for the area and assured them that, the Muslims communities in Asuogyaman will have their fair share of development  from the Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development”

Mr. Salifu Muhammad, the Nasara Coordinator for Asuogyaman received the items on behalf of the Acting Chief Imam  Alhaji Inusa Sanni and thanked the DCE as well as expressed appreciation and gratitude for the gesture.

Meanwhile, he revealed that, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asuogyaman Mr. Kofi Osei Ameyaw and Ex Ernergy Minister Mr Boakye Agyarko  have also made donations towards the Eid Mubarak festivities.
