Government has redeemed all its pledges to Ghanaians- Ken Ofori-Atta

All pledges by the Akufo-Addo led government made to the people of Ghana according to the Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta has been redeemed to ensure the socioeconomic of the citizenry.

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Attah made these feats during his 2020 budget statement delivering on the floor of Parliament today, November 13th, 2019.

Listing some of these pledges, he mentioned the provision of access to secondary education to 1.2million Ghanaian students by 2020, the completion of 200 dams and the Planting for Food and Jobs programme which he revealed had benefited 1.9million people.

Addressing the Speaker of the house, he noted, “Mr Speaker, I am proud to stand here and declare that the President has redeemed virtually all the pledges he made to the people of Ghana”.

“Mr Speaker, the numbers indeed don’t lie and I have some numbers that make interesting reading” he acclaimed.
