GUM launches party on 14th December

The Leader and Founder of Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christain K. Andrew has disclosed that, all is set for the outdooring and launching of GUM before the end of the year.

The official launching is expected to take place in Tarkwa in the Western region on 14th December, 2019.

This comes in just after the Electoral Commission (EC) has given them the final license to operate fully as a political party in the Republic of Ghana.

Speaking exclusively to our reporter, the Leader and Founder, who is popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Bosom noted that, nominations has been opened for interested people who want to contest for Member of Parliament on the party’s ticket to apply through their constituencies and district offices across the country.

Therefore called on the various party offices in all constituencies to start selecting their leaders prior to the launch of the party.

“The various District levels are also encouraged to invite the EC, to vet them in accordance to their law, so that they could be recognized by the EC” Rev. Andrew acknowledged.

Revealing that, “Registration for applications closes on 30th November 2019”.
