Ga Central Municipal Assembly elects George Nana Adu-Darko as PM

Hon. George Nana Adu-Darko has been elected as the new Presiding Member, (P.M) for Ga Central Municipal Assembly.

Hon. Adu-Darko an accountant and an entrepreneur, says he aims at helping the Municipal Chief Executive to effectively boost development in the electoral area.

He is Assembly Member for Olebu electoral area in the Municipality. Prior to his election, the new P.M was the Chairman for Justice and Security Committee as well as the Chairman for Finance and Administration of the Assembly.

Speaking to in an interview, the new P.M, expressed his preparedness to help his MCE, Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey to transform the socio-economic fortunes of the Ga Central Municipality.

Therefore promised to strengthen the sanitation task force by ensuring that, the Assembly’s by-Lws are adhered by residents.

According to him, President Nana Akufo Addo’s efforts in ensuring that, cities in Accra become the cleanest city in the subregion will be complimented.

“We are going to intensify on Internal Generation Fund, IGF for the development of the municipality”, the P.M noted.

“In collaboration with my MCE, we are going to leave no stone unturned to ensure that deplorable roads in our area get the needed attention to enhance the suffering of motorists and commuters” Hon. Adu-Darko indicated.

The business tycoon is the Apagyahene of Akyem Apedwa, in the Eastern region as well the proprietor of Geodak School Complex in Accra, and Manager of Luxury Car Rental and Tours.
