As the world is battling with the current flu epidemic, an urgent global partnership has been called upon in search of cure for COVID-19 as it affect millions of the world population and economy.

Professor Samuel Ato Duncan, Executive President, Centre of Awareness (COA) Global Peace Mission who made the call revealed that, the Centre products are potential medication for the deadly virus, hence called on urgent global partnership in conducting research on its products to ascertain their clinical effectiveness against the COVID-19.

Based on the above, the Professor called on the Government of Ghana, World Health Organisation (WHO), affected and unaffected countries worldwide, the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, University of Ghana, and other local and international research institutions to join hands with the Centre of Awareness to conduct the study as soon as possible.

According to him, COA FS which is a dietary supplement, has proven to boost the immune system to fight a variety of diseases and repair compromised tissues for full recovery.

Per statistics as at today, 10th March,2020 globally, 114,458 cases are recorded which 4,027 are infection, 64,215 have recovered, 46,216 fresh cases, 40,445 are mild condition with 5,771 in critical condition as well as 68,242 are closed cases.

Augmenting the Human Immune System Prof Duncan emphasized is the key to eliminating the COVID-19.

The Professor made these remarks at a press conference held in Accra on Monday, 9th March, 2020.

Explaining further, he noted that, most of diseases affecting mankind this day takes seat in the body when the immune system is suppressed.

However, if the immune system is functioning properly, it identifies a variety of disease-causing organisms including viruses, bacteria, fungi, moulds and other parasites, and distinguishes them from the body’s own healthy tissues for destruction, he indicated.

The Centre he said believes and hopes that there will be positive results from the trials, and when that occurs, Ghana and the rest of the world can adopt the formula and the product as the antidote to the COVID-19.

The rate at which the COVID-19 is spreading across the globe, he acknowledged is a serious threat to global peace, hamper supply chains, mistrust and violations of the principles of the International Health Regulations.

Meanwhile, Dr Duncan revealed that, in the Centre quest to find an antidote to the CODVI-19, the Centre, about two weeks ago sent some of its COA products to China through an individual to be tried on patients infected with the virus.

This he said “information reaching us indicates that there has been a significant improvement in the condition of some infected patients who were given COA products”.

Though this was good news, he pointed out that, this was not scientific and not conclusive, hence the need for further collaborative research for wider empirical evidence.

Speaking of the vision of the Centre, Dr. Duncan indicated that, Centre aims to be a selfless Non-Governmental Organisation with a divine mission poised at looking at the total welfare and wellbeing of humanity on earth.

Also, seeks to ensure a peaceful world, free from wars, political, and social injustice, ethnic conflicts, religious rivalry, discrimination, racism, poverty, immorality, selflessness, and greediness.

As well as to find cure for diseases that has no cure like HIV, cancers and renal failures among others.
