The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bodi, Hon. Sampson Ahi has called for united efforts by Ghanaians in the fight against the deadly novel Coronavirus which the world is struggling to defeat .
Hon. Ahi is of the view that, the COVID-19 pandemic is “so dangerous that time should not be spent at all in politicising the issue else the whole country will be the loser”.
Hon. Ahi also stressed that the pandemic is a critical global issues that needs to be managed by all and sundry.
“Let’s come together as a people and to help each other to fight against COVID-19: as it has recorded higher figures elsewhere in the world, this is a global fight; so let’s come together to curb it” Hon. Ahi emphasized.
Hon. Ahi made these comments when he donated hand sanitizers, liquid soap, Veronica buckets, surgical gloves and medical wear to the Bodi District Health Directorate for distribution to health centers and Healthcare deliverers, the Police Stations and other institutions in the district .
Other items donated are soaps, tissue, thi comes as part of his social intervention policies to minimise the risk of the Coronavirus affecting his constituents.
