The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Party, (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has refuted the claims of she bowing out from the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary Elections on December 7th, 2020.

According to the Secretary General of the National Democratic Party, (NDP), Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong, the leader and founder of the party has no intentions to bow out of the Presidential race come December 7th this year.

To this effect, leadership of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has denied the wide spread media reports of to thet tthe flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has pulled out of the 2020 Presidential elections.

Speaking at a press briefing in Accra today, 23rd November,2020 in Accra, the Secretary-General of the NDP, Mr Alhaji Frempong stated that the wife of the former President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings is still in the race to win the presidential election in the upcoming December,2020.

Emphasizing that, “This is fake news published by Kasapafmonline.com which is owned by of the leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and that Ghanaians should ignore and treat it as false.

It would be recalled thàt Kasapafmonline.com reported prior to thé pàrtys press çóñferéncé thàt Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has pulled out of the 2020 Presidential elections.

This comes barely 14 days to the December 7 general elections.

Accordiñg to the mentioned online portal, It’s believed that the last-minute consideration of pulling out from the Presidential race is linked to the demise of Konadu’s husband, ex-President Jerry John Rawlings who passed on 16th November,2020, two weeks ago.

The reports further stated that, the NDP leader has informed the EC of her decision which is not true.
