Accra Hearts of Oak are set to lose one of their key players to yet another top flight side in the ongoing transfer window.

The Phobians have already parted ways with some key players who have since joined clubs abroad with some joining other clubs on loan.

Some key players who have left the club include, Emmanuel Nettey and Nuru Sulley who have since joined Iraqi club, Duhok Sporting Club.

Prior to the two players leaving Hearts of Oak, midfielder, Benjamin Afutu left to join Egypt club, El Sharkia Dokhan but they club’s performance has been far from impressive.

The 21 time Ghana Premier League champions have also released two key players to Premier League returnees, Real Tamale United for the rest of the season.

The players who joined Real Tamale United are strikers, Victor Aidoo and Issah Kuka until the end of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak diminutive winger, Patrick Razak has courted interest from fellow premier league side, Medeama Sporting Club.

The speedster has not been impressive under head coach, Samuel Boadu leading less number of minutes in the ongoing season.

Hearts of Oak have not done badly this season despite the fans calling for better performances from the 2000 CAF Champions League winners.

The 2001 CAF Super Cup winners have managed to win six games, recorded five draws and lost three games this season.

They currently lie 5th on the 18-league table on 23 points from 14 matches and have a week seven outstanding clash against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko later this month.

Hearts of Oak have another tough test against Great Olympics in a capital derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 6 at 3:00pm.
