As the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears towards its national elections of executives, one name that rings bells in the minds and hearts of delegates and grassroots for the position of General Secretary is Hon. Fredrick Opare-Ansah.

According to grassroots and key members especially former Members of Parliament of the party at the polling stations, Constituencies, regional and national level, Hon. Fredrick Opare-Ansah is the best choice for the party to build, enhance, and strengthen the party structures for 2024 general elections and beyond.

To them, a strong administrative centre is critical in coordinating the party’s political activities towards successful elections and for the preservation of the party tradition.

Throwing their weight behind Hon. Fredrick Opare-Ansah candidature is Friends of Opare-Ansah (FOA).

Fredrick Opare-Ansah to build a strong party machinery that would ensure victory in the next general elections when elected General Secretary in the upcoming national executives elections.

This declaration of support for the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Suhum Constituency was done at the official declaration of intent to contest the General Secretary position when the party opens nominations later in the year.

The official declaration of Intent which was held on Saturday, 26th March, 2022 at Akroma Plaza Hotel, Takoradi was under the theme: “restoring the grassroots faith in breaking the eight and beyond”.

This she said is what makes Hon. Opare-Ansah the best option for the party when the party searches for an answer to its weakened administrative structure.

Mrs. AwuraAdwoa Coleman therefore used the occasion to call on all sundry especially delegates to seek the best interest of the party and the grassroots members by campaigning vigorously for Hon. Opare-Ansah when the time comes to be the party General Secretary.
