Former Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe has urged the club to hire a resulted oriented coach if they will not keep assistant coach, Abdulai Gazale as a substantive.
The Porcupine Warriors are unlikely to retain their league trophy as they lie out of the top four with 30 matches played in the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League.
They were held to a 1-1 draw by Gold Stars in week 30 at the Baba Yara Stadium and now have 44 points in 6th position with four games end the season.
The past results have been steered by assistant coach, Abdulai Gazale following the exit of Burkinabe, Seydou Zerbo but he has been far from impressive.
Eric Bekoe told Radio Gold: “You need already ripe and thick-skinned coach who is in for results.
“But you go in for a coach who can deal with the upcoming ones then we are going into the academy system.
“But for now Kotoko is result oriented and they know anything apart from win.
“So if they don’t want the continuity, they should go in for already ripe coach who can quickly give them the results.” Eric Bekoe told Radio Gold Sports.
