Media Personality Lauds “Triple Nigerian Achievement” As Air Peace Flies To London

Nigerian media personality John Sele Philip has lauded the noteworthy achievement made possible by Air Peace’s foray into British territories.

On Saturday, March 30, 2024, Nigeria’s foremost airline operator Air Peace flew directly from Lagos to the Gatwick Airport in London.

Seven years on from the last of such (Medview Airline) in 2017, Air Peace, with 260 passengers on board landed at the Gatwick Airport in London to relaunch the operation of direct flights from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

Plaudits have rolled in from all walks on the latest development to happen to the Nigerian Aviation sector thanks to the nascent Air Peace chaired by Allen Onyema.

In a noteworthy revelation, Nigerian media personality, John Sele Philip revealed another commendable side of the event.

In his address on his official X handle, the Theologian Writer uncovered two other interesting parts of Air Peace’s London trip which completed a fantasied “triple achievement” for Nigeria as a nation.

“A Nigerian airline, Air Peace (@AirPeace70576) is flying to Gatwick Airport, London, which is owned by a Nigerian. They flew on Jet Fuel, refined by Dangote Refinery. This is a big triple achievement for Nigeria. Our Naira is Winning. God Bless Nigeria.” Wrote Philip on X.

Adebayo Ogunlesi is a Nigerian who founded the private equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and owns a majority stake in London Gatwick Airport hence the assertion it’s (Nigerian owned).

Air Peace have been the leading flight operators in Nigeria and West Africa over the last few years and are not stopping in their quest to becoming one of the best in the aviation industry in Africa and the world at large.
