Accra, Ghana — Ghanaian fashion designer, model trainer and entrepreneur Ofori Danso Kelvin, popularly known as Kelly Ofori, is leading efforts to use male pageantry as a platform to promote Ghana’s tourism, culture and talent internationally.

Kelly Ofori serves as the National Director of Mister Tourism Ghana, a male pageant that seeks to promote Ghana’s tourism potential and showcase the country’s cultural heritage and talent on the global stage.

With a background spanning fashion, modelling, talent development and entrepreneurship, Kelly Ofori brings extensive experience in creative direction and runway presentation to the pageant.

He is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Tailormodel Brand, where he oversees the design of bespoke unisex apparel and the creation of high-end fashion accessories.

His career in the fashion and modelling industry has also included model training and creative development, experiences that have positioned him to contribute to the development of contestants participating in Mister Tourism Ghana.

As National Director, Kelly Ofori is seeking to position the pageant beyond physical appearance by using the platform to promote Ghana’s identity, tourism destinations, culture and young talent.

Mister Tourism Ghana has been described as a platform that promotes tourism, cultural preservation and environmental awareness while providing young Ghanaian men with opportunities for personal and professional development.

The pageant’s broader mission aligns with efforts to use cultural and creative platforms to strengthen Ghana’s visibility internationally and encourage young people to become ambassadors for the country’s tourism and heritage.

Kelly Ofori’s experience in fashion is expected to contribute to the development of contestants’ runway presentation, personal branding and professional image as they prepare to represent Ghana.

Beyond fashion and pageantry, Kelly Ofori has interests in culinary arts and creative media, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to the creative industry.

His leadership comes at a time when Ghana’s pageantry industry is increasingly being viewed as a platform for youth leadership, cultural promotion and community development rather than solely beauty competitions. Recent industry discussions have also highlighted the need for stronger corporate partnerships to enable pageants to expand their social and development-oriented activities.

For Mister Tourism Ghana, the ambition is to use the platform to identify and develop young men capable of representing Ghana’s culture, tourism and values on international platforms.

Under Kelly Ofori’s leadership, the pageant is expected to continue combining fashion, modelling, cultural promotion and tourism advocacy while creating opportunities for young Ghanaian talent to gain international exposure.

The initiative ultimately seeks to make the Mister Tourism Ghana platform a vehicle for showcasing Ghana’s cultural heritage and tourism potential while developing a new generation of young ambassadors for the country.
