Head coach of AshantiGold, Thomas Duah has attributed lack of discipline to their defeat to Asante Kotoko.
The Miners lost 3-1 to the Porcupine Warriors in week 12 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Thomas Duah was left disappointed after the loss. “Some of my players lost concentration, the defenders because after the first half, I spoke to them but they still made same mistakes.
“[Empem] Dacosta made the same mistake in the first and second half so, stubbornness caused our defeat.
“In all the three goals, they [Kotoko] didn’t really work for it so I think it’s painful,” Thomas Duah told StarTimes.
“For now we shall correct our mistakes in training and concentrate on other games.
“Such is football and this is the time to psyche the players for the other matches.” Thomas Duah added.
AshantiGold have won three games, drawn three and lost six games with 12 points on the 16th in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.
Their next game will be at home to Elmina Sharks at the Len Clay Stadium in week 13.
