Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Bernard Don Bortey remains confident that his former side will win the Super Clash on Sunday against rivals, Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians will host their bitter rivals at the Accra Sports wind down the first round of games of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Hearts of Oak have not had the best of seasons this term compared to last season where they won the league, FA Cup and an automatic treble.
The Phobians have this season had mixed results – clocking home six wins, draws and four losses in the league.
They have managed to secure 24 points from 16 games and sit 8th on the league table.
Don Bortey who is a club legend believes his former club has what it takes to win the week seven outstanding clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“The players should do exactly what the coach wants them to do and I believe with the presence of experienced players like Muntari and Gladson Awako, Hearts is going to win against Kotoko”, he told Bryt FM.
“I will advise Samuel Boadu to remain calm going into this game. I believe him and knows what he can do. I’m saying it on authority, Hearts of Oak will win the game, that’s all.” Don Bortey said.
Asante Kotoko on the other hand have been very impressive this season, raking home 11 wins, three draws and just two losses this season.
They sit top of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League with 36 points, 12 points better than rivals, Hearts of Oak and nine better than second place Bechem United.
