The 70th Anniversary launch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is set to kick off today, 28th May, 2019 at Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast City, Accra.
The former President of the Republic, His Excellency President John Agyekum Kufour is the Special Guest whiles the Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel Mckorley will be the chairman of the occasion under the leadership of GJA President, Affail Monney.
The launch is under the theme “Democracy, Freedom and Independent of the Media in Ghana: 70 Years of GJA’s Contribution”.
Both current and former ministers, Member of Parliament (MPs), season journalists across the continent and other high profile dignitaries are expected to grace the launch today.
