Elections 2020: NDC outdoors Manifesto Committee

In the quest to win the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections come December 7, the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) has outdoored twenty one (21) member committee that will oversee to the drafting of the party’s manifesto.

The Leader and Flagbearer H. E President John Dramani Mahama who inaugurated the Committee tasked them to develop a “peoples’ manifesto, thus a manifesto that responds to the specific needs of the people as the party embarks on a rescue mission to deliver Ghanaians from the current socio-e onomic misery spear headed by the Akufo-Addo government.

The 21 member committee will be Chaired by Ace diplomat and academic Prof. Kweku Danso Boafo and supported by a strong team of experienced experts, technical persons, academics and public
policy practitioners from across the various sectors of the economy.


The other members of the committee are as follows; Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Cde. Peter Boamah Otokunor, Cde. Dr. Ekow Spio Garbah, Cde. Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, Cde. Alex Mould, Augustus Goosie Tanoh, Dr Johnson Asiama, Dr. Alhassan Yakubu, Dr. William Ahadzie, Sam Pee Yalley Esq., Michael Abbey, Kyeretwie Opoku Esq., Benedict Lassey Esq., Nana Oye Lithur, Sabastian Deh, Napoleon Kpoh, Prof. Asiamah, Prof. Stephen Kende, Mavis Ama Frimpong and a Representative from AGI.


The committee will work with a team of four consultants led by Prof Kwamena Ahwoi and supported by Cde. Abaka Quansah, Cde. Mrs. Sherry Ayittey, Cde. Dr. Christine Amoako Nuamah whilst
Comrade Sammy Gyamfi Esq. and Comrade. Kakra Essamuah Esq. will be the official spokespersons of the manifesto committee.
