Ghana is Africa Future TechHub

Ghana has been described as the Africa Future TechHub as the 2nd Annual Ghana Tech Summit is scheduled to be hosted on December 13 to 14th, 2019 in Accra, Ghana.

The 2nd Annual Ghana Tech Summit will bring together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, government stakeholders and industry experts under one roof to address humanity’s greatest challenges through technology and entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the press conference to launch the Summit in Accra, the National General Secretary of Ghana YMCA, Kwaben Nketia Addae indicated that, this year’s Summit returns with the same line up of top tier companies under the theme: ” Sankofa-‘Go back and get it’; Redefining the Future of Africa”.

Adding her voice, Mrs. Christine Ntim, Forbes 30 under 30 and the host of Ghana Tech Summit explained that, it is time for the young people to be technology inclined to be able to compete on the international market regarding to jobs.

Indicating that, our current education system is not favouring young people due to the high rise of technology globally.

Companies billed for the Ghana Tech Summit includes pioneers from leading companies such as Google, Facebook, Uber, Twitter, IBM, Microsoft whiles over forty (40) media representatives from Forbes, Inc Magazine, Fast Company, Black Enterprise, NY Times will be in attendance.

The 2nd annual edition will be produced by Forbes Magazine and will be searching for top innovators of Africa.

The event is a 12 year initiative of the Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE), the first and largest digital accelerator that accelerates 1,000 companies to market annually across 90 countries entirely online.

Past kynote speakers include Ndaba Madela, Ben Horowitz ( Investor in Twitter, Facebook),_Tim Draper (Investor in Skype, Hotmail etc), Jack Dorsey (Founder of Twitter & Square) Current President of Haiti Jovenel Moise, and VP + CEOs from Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Urber etc.
