I have an unfinished business with Asante Kotoko – Agyemang Badu

Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has insisted that he has an unfinished business with Asante Kotoko before he hangs his boots.

The former Udinese midfielder once played for the Porcupine Warriors and is itching to end his career with the record Ghana Premier League holders in the future. He made the comments in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh fm.

“The idea to play in the Ghana League has not really come into mind. “I have a couple of offers on the table so let’s see what happens,” Agyemang Badu told Ashh fm. “Seriously [immediate return to Kotoko is not likely] but I have an unfinished business with Kotoko like Inalways say. “If Nana Yaw Amponsah employs me as a Kotoko ball boy, it’s also an unfinished business. “Imagine myself with Richard Boadu, [Salifu] Mudasiru, Fabio Gama, Frank Etouga and Georges Mfegue plus Justice Blay. “Meaning I have some top players to play alongside. “Africa [continental football] will be thrilling.” Agyemang Badu told Ashh fm.

The 31-year-old has played for clubs like, Berekum Arsenal, Asante Kotoko on loan before leaving for Udinese in Italy after the FIFA U-20 World Cup glory. Prior to joining Udinese, he spent brief moments with Spanish, Recreativo Huelva. He has had stints with Turkish club, Bursaspor, Verona in Italy and has now joined Chinese club, Quindao FC as a free agent.
