The Porcupine Warriors reigned supreme over the “Dade Boys” in their week 15 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday.

Kotoko, courtesy Cameroonian import, Frank Etouga’s brace snatched all three points from Great Olympics and stretched their lead at the top of the league table.

Prosper Narteh in an interview with StarTimes said: “They [Great Olympics] were a very good side, they were tactically strong, they were very compact in the middle of the park.

“They created a lot of overrode that made it very difficult for us sometimes to even play the ball.

“So they didn’t make it easy but rather they came in stronger, tougher and better and that brought the best out of us.”

Prosper Narteh Ogum told StarTimes. Asante Kotoko now have 33 points from 14 matches and a week seven outstanding clash against arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak to be played in February.

Asante Kotoko have won the domestic league 24 times and will look to increase their tally this season after going trophiless last term.

They have won 10 matches, recording three drawn games and just a single loss to city rivals, King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium.

They will however miss out on the double treble season as they are out of the MTN FA Cup.
