Head coach of Accra Lions, James Nicholas Francis has talked about picking valuable lessons despite losing to Asante Kotoko.

The premier league new boys succumbed to Cameroon striker, Franck Etouga’s hat-trick which they managed to reply ones at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday.

The defeat leaves Accra Lions on the 14th spot with 19 points from 17 matches. James Francis said: “I think we were slow to start with in the first half.

“But the slow start cost us; in the set piece in the first two minutes, you can’t do that against Kotoko so a big disappointment in the overall performance,” James Nicholas Francis told StarTimes.

“I would be worried if we didn’t create the chances. We are creating the chances and it’s up to the players, myself and the technical team to work on them taking the chances.

“We were not totally outplayed in the whole ninety minutes against one of the top teams in the Ghana premier league.

“So that’s a positive, we’ve got a very very young team, so a lot of positives. “We will just keep working hard, that’s what we can do.

We will work hard on the training field, to work on the corrections and then we take every game as it comes.” The British trainer added.
