He went on to face Real Tamale United in the final first round game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium as well as the week seven outstanding fixture against rivals, Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fatawu Mohammed believes the experience of the former Udinese, Inter and AC Milan, Portsmouth midfielder has added a lot to the club’s setup.

“Sulley Muntari’s inclusion has really helped us. He motivates and encourages us always and we also learn a lot from him at training,” Alhassan told OTEC FM. “Muntari has added a lot to the team and he is someone you can rely on” He added

Hearts of Oak’s performance this term has been far from glittering having won the treble last season.
