Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has explained the recent absence of striker, Kofi Kordzi from his starting line up.

The big striker has been missing in Samuel Boadu’s first eleven despite being the club’s top scorer with seven goals this season.

The former Al Muaither attacker was a substitute when the Phobians sold out a goalless draw encounter against rivals, Asante Kotoko in a week seven outstanding clash at the Accra Sport Stadium on Sunday.

He looks to have fallen down the peeking order depend on the formation employed by the technical team. Samuel Boadu has however expatiated what has led to the recent situation.

“It depends on the training not that he scores a goal in a match every day, that doesn’t mean I should put him in.

What we rehearse at the training will give you the chance. “I see it like those starting are ahead of him.” Boadu stated.

Hearts of Oak have managed to claim 25 points after the first round of games in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season. They are on six victories, seven draws and four losses this season.
