With a total of 174 international matches since February, there have been changes in the top ten of the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s world ranking as 2022 World Cup winners Argentina maintains the top spot.

Belgium joined the elites in the top 10 with Qatar, Comoros, and Indonesia moving up in the rankings.

Asian sides competed in a variety of forms, including FIFA World Cup 26 qualifications, while the Nations League finals were held in the Concacaf zone. As part of the FIFA Series 2024, there were also many friendly matches in each of the six confederations.

The FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s World Ranking has been significantly impacted by these matches, especially in the top ten.

Argentina (first) and France (second) are still leading the way, while Belgium (third, up 1) has overtaken England (fourth, down 1) to reclaim their place on the podium.

The top five is completed by Brazil (5th), although Portugal (6th, up 1) is currently making a move. While Spain (8th), Italy (9th), and Croatia (10th) have all maintained their ranks, the Netherlands (7th, down 1) have dropped one spot.

Among the top 100 teams, the USA (ranked 11th, up 2), Colombia (12th, up 2), Ukraine (ranked 22nd, up 2), and Poland (ranked 28th, up 2) have all moved up the rankings.

Other notable climbers include Czechia (ranked 36th, up 4), Palestine (ranked 93rd, up 4), and the Kyrgyz Republic (ranked 100th, up 4).

The largest movers, however, can be found outside of the top 100. After their two wins over Vietnam in the FIFA World Cup 26 qualifiers, Indonesia (134th, up 8) is the highest climber. Libya (114th, up 6) and Afghanistan (151st, up 7) have also made significant progress.

Last but not least, both Comoros (117th, up 4) and Qatar (34th, up 3) put on impressive performances, both of which are now in their highest-ever rankings positions.
