A woman named Anyim Vera, who was seen in a viral video alleged by the senior pastor of Dunamis Church, Abuja, over her degree has come out to address the situation.
The fresh graduate of LLB in Law from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) stood before the congregation at Dunamis Church to share her testimony but was reb
uked by the senior pastor Dr. Paul Enenche owing to her inarticulate manner of speech delivery.
The video went viral and gained traction online with many calling for the pastor to apologize to the woman who is a graduate of LLB in Law from the aforementioned institution.
Her undoing was her inability to differentiate between “BSc in Law” and the actual degree she bagged, being “LLB in Law”, which prompted the pastor, coupled with her incoherence to usher her out of the altar.
Following criticism from concerned citizens, the church issued an official communique explaining the situation.
The lady in question has since met with Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife Becky, to clarify whatever controversy the incident might have caused online.
“I want to inform the whole world that I just had a warm meeting with my spiritual father and mother Dr. Paul Enenche and Dr. Becky Enenche.” She wrote on her Facebook page.
“I don’t have any grudge against the church nor them, I remain committed to serving God as a member of Dunamis church.”
“I am thankful for the concern of the public. I have put the situation at my back and I have moved forward and I want everybody to do the same. Peace.” Captained the lady along with a picture of herself with the clergyman and his wife.
Mrs. Anyim Vera has received warm empathy from concerned Nigerians since the disgraceful incident, with some offering cash donations while she has also received invitations from organizations as learned from her Facebook page.
