According to Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement GHANA (ADAM-GH) the Ghana Education Service (GES) under Akufo Addo’s government are indirectly introducing Lesbianism, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) through school curriculum to corrupt the Ghanain moral principles of our future leaders.
Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement GHANA (ADAM-GH) a registered civil society group that Anchor democratic principles and protect the Ghanain Interest, moral values, Peace and security and the rule of law.
To them, the moves by Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo’s government to indirectly implement homosexual through the Ghana Education Service, by introducing the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in public schools in the country is as a result of the president interview on BBC two years ago over weather or not he will accept same sex married in Ghana which the president said and I qoute “it is bound to happened”.
Speaking to press in Accra, the Executive Secretary, Azubila Salam Emmanuel
pointed out that, the ambiguity of the president answers has since left Ghanains in a confused state about the president stand on the fight against homosexuality.
Therefore called on the President to state his government stand regarding to homosexuality, Lesbians and transgender as the late President, Prof.Atta Mills categorically openly rejected it when asked the same question.
Hence, adding their voice to support parents and anti-gay civil society organisations to state categorically that, it is too early to teach children of 4 to 5 years about comprehensive sex and it related issues.
Indicating that, children of this early stage of life almost absorbs everything they are taught teach and therefore, it should either be religious moral principles and not comprehensive sex.
The group bemoaned that, it’s obvious that the implementation of the CSE will have a negative ripple effect on these children who will grow to be the future leaders.
“Legally, the only time a child in Ghana can practice sex or considered as adult is 17 to 18 years and so if there’s the need for such comprehensive sex education, it should rather start from Junior high schools and not Primary one”, he acknowledged.
Therefore condemns the implementation of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education and calling on government to withdraw it immediately.
He also used the occasion to call on various Parents Teachers Associations (P. T. A) to rise up against government decision of implementating the CSE module.
And also called on all men of God (Pastors) and Imams in the country to rise up against this Homosexual agenda in our primary schools.
To ensure the CSE curriculum is not implemented, ADAM-GH pledged to resist the CSE with all their might legally and to ensure that, the CSE don’t live to see the light of the day which is a threat to the future of our children.
“If the minister of education will not make love with his wife in the presence of his 4 years old child which seems to be more practical than the theory, why the need to introduce these infants into comprehensive sex education?”, they questioned.
Meanwhile, on issues of stageholder’sconsultations, some religious leaders including the Archbishop Conference have stated emphatically that the Minister of education was not honest to them when it comes to the implementation of the Comprehensive Sex Education.
In Ghana, most of the public schools are missionary schools and therefore detailed
Stakeholders’ consultations by government which needs to include Parents Teachers Associations.
However, the President of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso of Assemblies of God and other individuals have threatened to lead a demonstration against the introduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in Ghanaian public schools.
The President of GPCC described the acronym (CSE) as Comprehensive Satanic Engagement to destroy the future of Ghanaian children.
Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso stated that “GES through the new curriculum is softly packaging satanic and demonic agenda for our children.”
And he is convinced that some texts and modules in the curriculum that will guide the CSE programme will promote Lesbianism, gaysm, bisexual and transgenda LGBT.
In that regards, Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) finds the implementation of the CSE curriculum as a way to implement homosexual in Ghana and the targets are our school children.
Therefore appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government to focus and ensure that all E-BLOCKS schools started by the previous government are completed to increase accessibility in our senior high schools which should be the country major priority now.
As well as demands that, President Akufo-Addo should immediately reverses the CSE implementation of the new curriculum so as to save our children from practicing homosexuality.
