Traditional rulers, government, Ghana Police Service and other stakeholders within Ada Foah community have been called upon to ensure that, all persons involved in the robbery and attacks cases recorded some months ago within the Ada township is brought to book and punished as the law requires.
This call made by the The leadership and members of the Ada Development Network (ADN) through a press release copied to www.thenewindependentonline.com is to ensure peace and justice prevails in the township as well affected victims.
According to the group, these numerous attacks and robbery cases over some months ago resulted in the killing of one person, several injuries and loss of hard earned business capital and properties.
The press release signed by its Communication Office dated 7th. November, 2019 stressed the need to hold perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensive acts of crime accountable and bring them to the full books of justice.
Therefore urged all the stakeholders to exercise their constitutional responsibilities, hence cooperate actively with authorities in this regard.
The press release further stated that, ‘’We will like to reiterate that any act of crime regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever, by whomever committed is criminal and against human rights in our constitution.’’
Therefore called on the Paramount Chief Djeste Abram Kabu Akuaku III and his Traditional Council, District Chief
Executive- Hon Sarah Pobee, Member of Parliament- Hon Comfort Doeyo Cudjoe-Ghansah, Civil Society groups, District Police Headquarters, District Security Services, NGOs and concerned citizens to be resolute, work together to bring an end to this canker with immediate effect.
