The Greater Accra Regional Secretariat of the NDC has extended it’s congratulatory message to Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang on her nomination for the second time as the running mate to the party flagbearer H.E. John Dramani Mahama as the party work to regain power in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The congratulatory message was contained in press release issued today and signed by the Regional Communication Officer Jerry Johnson today, 8th March 2024 in Accra.
“Many Ghanaians will surely be convinced that this choice, which has obviously gone through series of evaluation was reached based on your unwavering competence, loyalty and dedication to public service. As a Vice Chancellor and Minister of Education your experience and competence came to the fore without any blemish. As a woman and the 2020 NDC Running Mate, you excelled and demonstrated to the world how the feminist power could mobilise the masses for an electoral victory” the release eulogized.
The release further indicated that, “Your re-nomination as the Running Mate for the 2024 elections is an affirmation of what you represent in the political space of Ghana. It is indeed a worthy decision, guided by all the elements of diligence to appoint you as the next Vice President of Ghana”
The release equally extended a note of gratitude to H.E John Mahama for the principled position he has maintained to retain Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang and his insightful and meticulous choice which will give the NDC victory in the 2024 elections cannot be glossed over.
“Once again, Congratulations, Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang on the occasion of your nomination as the NDC Running Mate. Looking forward to usual cooperation’, the release concluded.
