LA Galaxy and Black Stars forward Joseph Paintsil has revealed that he is open to returning to Europe if the right opportunity arises.
Paintsil, who joined the LA Galaxy from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk, has enjoyed a successful debut season in Major League Soccer (MLS), helping the team win the MLS Cup.
Despite his success in the MLS, Paintsil admitted that he would consider a return to Europe if the opportunity presents itself.
“I would [return to Europe] if there is an opportunity, but I need to always make the best decision for myself,” he said.
Paintsil also shared his thoughts on the MLS, describing it as a “really serious” league that is “making an impact in the world.”
He highlighted the presence of top players like Lionel Messi, Busquets, and Olivier Giroud, which makes the league “interesting” to play in.
For now, Paintsil is focused on representing GHANA in the MLS and making the best decisions for his career.
