Ga South MCE and BNAC MP Donate 2,940 Chairs and Tables to Local Schools

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga South, Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey, and the Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro Constituency, Hon. Felix Akwetey Okley, have donated 2,940 tables and chairs to two senior high schools in the municipality.

The donation, which took place on January 21, 2026, is aimed at improving the learning environment for students and addressing furniture shortages.

Amanfro Senior High School received 1,740 tables and chairs, while Christian Methodist Senior High School received 1,200. The donation is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen public education infrastructure and ensure a conducive learning environment for students.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey emphasized that education remains a top priority of the government, and the donation aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of inclusive and equitable access to quality education.

“The donation is a significant boost to the schools and reflects the government’s commitment to improving education in the country,” Hon. Ocansey said.

Hon. Felix Akwetey Okley reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the Municipal Assembly and the central government to support schools in the constituency.
