Ignatius Osei-Fosu says he is on a mission to save King Faisal from relegation following his appointment as the new head coach of the club.

Osei-Fosu was officially confirmed as King Faisal’s new gaffer on Wednesday, April 5, and was in the dugout later in the day as the club faced Asante Kotoko in the betPawa Ghana Premier League matchday 21 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.

He earned a point in his first game with the two clubs playing out a goalless stalemate.

Speaking after the game, Osei-Fosu detailed the rationale behind his decision to accept the King Faisal coaching job.

“The reality is that I’m result-oriented. I saved Dreams FC, and I’m here to save King Faisal, too,” he said.
