The Afro Arab Group of companies in collaboration with the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly with support from fidelity bank Ghana under the WASH program has built a 24 seater KVIP at the Nima market to help solve of the Sanitation crisis within the market.
Nima is known with some challenges with Sanitation issues that, the 8 units of 24 seater toilet WC facilities will go a long way to serve the traders, customers and people who patronize the Nima market and the residents around the market.
TheAyawaso East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hajia Salma Mohammed Sani Adams in her remarks commended the Afro-Arab group Chairman for the initiative to make Nima one of the hygienic cities in Accra.
“Alhaji Salamu is indeed making the vision of President Akufo-Addo a reality and as the Municipal chief executive for this area I will make sure all the communities facing toilet problems get solved”. Hajia Salima acknowledged.
Alhaji Salamu Amadu on his part called on the traders to value the new edifice and should be mindful of its relevance to hygiene.
“Yes of course just look at this new project we are commissioning now and the old one and also in terms of hygiene”, he noted.
“We are all aware of the bad and poor maintance culture in Ghana but I can assure you of good standard practice of maintenance for I have competent team that will oversee to the total maintance of this facilities” Afro-Arab Group Chairman revealed.
In all five(5) communities within the ayawaso East namely Nima 441 , Nima Frankies , Nima market , luga kanda and kusuntu line Nima will be the beneficiaries of the project.
