As part of celebrations to conclude the month-long Ramadan exercise, the federal government of Nigeria has declared two days of public holiday for the celebrations.
In a statement released by the government via the information minister, the presidency has declared Tuesday and Wednesday being 9th and 10th of April as work-free days to allow for smooth celebrations across the nation.
Muslims across the federation will gather on Tuesday, 9th April, to felicitate on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan which lasted twenty nine days.
Official operations are therefore expected to resume on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 as contained by the communique.
