The Porcupine warriors Kotoko will lock horns with the Phobia boys Hearts of Oak at Accra Stadium on Sunday 16th June 2019 after Kotoko rescind their decision to withdraw from the Normalization Committee Special Cup.
The Chief Executive Officer of Kotoko, Mr George Amoako said, Kotoko seeks for fairness and equity in sharing of the gate proceedings, in which it lead to Kotoko withdrawing from the Normalization Committee (NC) special cup.
Mr Amoako also said ” the committee engaged in talks with Kotoko over the issue on Friday and finally decided to consider the club’s request to give both Hearts and Kotoko a 40 percent share of the gate proceedings from the match, confirming from Graphic Sports Online.
But the Ghana Football Association (GFA) insisted that, whiles Hearts and Kotoko gets 40 percent and 30 percent respectively, the remaining 30 percent will go to the FA.
Kotoko on 10th June, 2019 tweeted about training in Asante Mampong, Hearts on the other hand is also training in Cape Coast, preparing for the Sunday’s NC special cup.
