Ghana according to the leader of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) Mr. Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng will rise again under his leadership when voted for in the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7, 2024.
To him, Ghana is currently in the ‘Emergency Intensive Care State’ under the Akufo-Addo-led government, that a skilled and competent ‘doctor’ is needed to rescue the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian and that ‘doctor’ is his Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC).
“Ghana needs a leader who can restore hope, seek the best interest and wellbeing of the ordinary Ghanaian and not a leader elected based on his political affiliation, but a leader based on his merits and competence”, he asserted.
Furthermore, Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten reiterated that his leadership would ensure that Ghana works again by utilizing the resources of the country for the benefit of all and sundry irrespective of political affiliation therefore believing in and empowering the ordinary Ghanaian.
Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten made this pledge at the official launch of the Alliance on 17th April 2024 at UPSA Auditorium, Accra.
The Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), spearheaded by Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and Dr. Michael Abu Sakara Foster, aims to mobilize Ghanaians nationwide, with a particular emphasis on engaging the youth and women, transcending traditional religious, political, and ethnic boundaries, hence contest in the upcoming 2024 General Elections in Ghana.
The ARC’s primary objective is to elect the first independent candidate as President of the Republic of Ghana, signaling a departure from the entrenched dominance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
After enduring over three decades of governance under these two parties, the ARC contends that they have failed to adequately address the nation’s core development challenges.
In pursuit of the Alliance objectives, the leader of ARC, Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten pledged to form a government of national unity, that the current divided front in Ghana’s politics is worrying and affecting the fortunes of the country in her quest to ensure the development and well-being of the citizenry.
To achieve that, he disclosed his government would be inclusive of diverse stakeholders such as political parties, business leaders, farmers, labor unions, and civil society organizations.
This collaborative approach he noted seeks to transcend partisan interests and foster consensus-building towards a comprehensive National Development Plan.
Outlining the key areas of focus for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Alan Kyeremanten indicated that there is a need for governance reforms that would improve the effectiveness and transparency of government institutions.
This he noted would pave the way for the public officials to be accountable for their actions and decisions which he believes would tackle the numerous corruption in the public sector.
Furthermore, he would ensure that the numerous natural resources are sustainably managed to ensure responsible utilization of Ghana’s resources for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten acknowledged that for the above to be accomplished, there would be the need to encourage a collective vision thus, fostering a positive mindset shift among Ghanaians.
“We will inspire a revolutionary change in the minds of Ghanaians. This is of importance to ensure that, the youth population believes in Ghana and is willing to put their minds to work for Ghana to rise again among its peers on the African continent”, he charged.
The Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) in Ghana is a coalition of seven interest groups that have come together with a shared vision for change and progress.
Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) is spearheaded by Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the funder and leader of the Movement for Change, and Dr. Michael Abu Sakara Foster, an independent presidential aspirant along with other six influential political parties.
The seven political parties and their leaders are Akwasi Odike Adai leads the Union Government Movement, Bishop Samuel Noi Mensah leads Ghana First Coalition; Rev. Stephen Ayensu leads the Ghana Green Party, Dr. Abu Sakara Foster leads the National Interest Movement, Augustina Cudjoe leads the Third Force Movement, Mr. Henry Asante, former Second Vice Chairman of the People’s National Convention and Emmanuel Wilson representing the Crusaders Against Corruption.
This coalition represents a significant step towards becoming Ghana’s third political force, and it reflects the collective determination to bring about positive change in the nation’s political landscape.
