SSNIT shows Appreciation to Loyal Clients

As part of the activities to mark the National Chocolate Day celebration, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has paid a working visit to some traders at the Abossey Okai business enclosed in Accra.

The gesture was to show appreciation to its loyal customers by distributing chocolates to traders who contribute to the scheme and also was an opportunity to interact with others to join the scheme and reap the essential financial benefits when they attain the pension age.

Addressing the media, before the visit, the Client Services Manager at SSNIT, Madam Victoria Gifty Abaidoo said the move is geared towards enhancing customer service relations with contributors and to maintain also a sound and a cordial working with clients.

“The celebration is on the nations annual calendar and observed on the 14th of February of which SSNIT seized the opportunity to recognise clients across it’s 51 branches across the country.” She added

“SSNIT engages it’s contributors periodically as their door steps,” she said and explained that, they work both with the formal and informal sectors hence the occasion we are all witnessing.

She therefore applauded traders in the entrepreneurial space for their commitment in contributing towards in securing their future and urged all who have not yet join the scheme to do so for their future financial security.

Madam Victoria Abaidoo thanked the media for their continuous support in propagating the SSNIT operations.

In an earlier development, SSNIT supported the National Pensioners Association (NPA) with a cheque of GH¢1 million to cater to the health needs of pensioners enrolled in the NPA’s Pension Medical Scheme (PMS).

Presenting the cheque the Director General of SSNIT, Dr. John Ofori-Tenkorang said the move is in fulfilment of a commitment by SSNIT to enhance the well-being of pensioners under the scheme.

Mr. Stephen Boakye expressed his profound gratitude to the management of SSNIT for their support and assured that the monies will be used for the intended purpose.

The General Secretary of the NPA, Mr. Stephen Boakye, expressed appreciation to the Management of SSNIT for their continuous support of the Pensioners Medical Scheme. He acknowledged the cordial relationship between the NPA and SSNIT, particularly under the current Management of SSNIT and assured that the funds would be used for its intended purpose.

A beneficiary, Mr. Confidence Kofi Adjayi, highlighted the supportive role of the Pensioner Medical Scheme in his healthcare journey. He emphasized the Scheme has consistently covered his medical expenses, particularly for eye care, whenever he visited the hospital.
