Abdul Rauf Tongym Tubazu, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central Constituency, has outlined his vision for the constituency, marking a significant shift after 28 years of leadership by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In his maiden speech delivered during the 68th Independence Day celebration on March 6, 2025, Hon. Tubazu identified unemployment, sanitation, and emergency services as key areas that require immediate attention.
He assured the constituents of his commitment to creating job opportunities, improving sanitation, and enhancing emergency services.
“We will work tirelessly to ensure that our young people have the skills and training they need to succeed,” he emphasized.
Hon. Tubazu also pledged to collaborate with the Municipal Assembly to provide access to clean water, decent toilets, and proper waste management.
Furthermore, he vowed to foster a collaborative environment with the opposing party, NPP, and the immediate past Member of Parliament, Henry Quartey, to find solutions that benefit everyone.
